Two regions, each ending on Floor 5 with a named boss: Veil of Silence's Giant Stone Golem (~18,000 HP on Hard, immune to Stun, knockback, Bleeding and Burning) drops Stone, Lesser Mana Stones, Goddess's Tears, and a first-kill Soul Stone; Festering Burrow's Chain Knight Sentinel (~34,000 HP with Auto Repair on ~180s cooldown) is immune to Stun, knockback and Bleeding. Floor 4 chance-spawn elites (Alpha Acid Slogel in Veil of Silence, Elder Gloth in Festering Burrow) are optional.

Region 1 — Veil of Silence (5 floors)
Red Monster Rat (early elite, Crawling Doom finale) is about 4,500 HP with 144 physical attack; moveset includes Bloody Scratch and Rat Swarm. The Red Monster Rat is not the Region 1 completion boss — it is the first elite encounter after leveling two settlers with lesser mana stones in the Crawling Doom finale. The Giant Stone Golem is the Region 1 progression boss on Floor 5 (~18,000 HP on Hard), with Stone Stomp (applies Dizziness), Stone Throw (drops a Pulsating Rock that hatches into a Yellow Stone Golem add after ~10s), Stone Raise (self movement and attack speed buff), and Earth Crash (AoE knockback plus slow). Immune to Stun, knockback, Bleeding and Burning. Drops Stone, Lesser Mana Stones, Goddess's Tears and a first-kill Soul Stone. Defeating it opens the Festering Burrow. The Alpha Acid Slogel is a chance-spawn elite on Floor 4.
Region 2 — Festering Burrow (5 floors)
Elder Gloth is a chance-spawn elite on Floor 4; summoning is capped at three uses as of v0.4.19 — re-run the floor if you need its Soul Stone or drops. Chain Knight Sentinel is the Region 2 progression boss on Floor 5 (~34,000 HP with ~33.3% physical and magic resistance). Moveset: Chain Grab (pulls a target in), Ensnaring Chains (pulls the farthest enemy when no one is adjacent), Phantom Chain (repeated magic damage plus a root follow-up if not broken), Sentinel Smite (AoE around its target), Auto Repair (restores boss HP on roughly a 180-second cooldown), and Soul Chain (below ~35% HP adds Fracture). Immune to Stun, knockback and Bleeding. Regular and Abyss variants noted in v0.4.23.
General boss tips
Restore the party before engaging — half-health or wounded members get one-shot by Sentinel Smite or Stone Stomp. Separate melee from ranged — AoEs (Stone Stomp, Earth Crash, Sentinel Smite) stack the team if they stand together. Destroy Pulsating Rocks before they hatch Yellow Stone Golems; the adds cost more damage than the rock itself. Pause to recover spacing after a Chain Grab pull — the Sentinel pulls one target, reposition before resuming. Keep sustained damage rolling to counter the Sentinel's Auto Repair rather than burning every cooldown at the start; Auto Repair is on roughly a 180-second cooldown, so sustained damage over the full window wins. Boss respawn after defeat takes about 3 hours.
